Bobby Santos III NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour Advance: Lime Rock Park

Bobby Santos III will head to Lakeville, Conn., to race in the NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour's inaugural race at Lime Rock Park on Saturday, July 3.

LIME ROCK PARK - Santos has previously raced in a Legends car race at Lime Rock Park, but this will be his first NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour race at the track.

LAST RACE RECAP - Santos finished in fourth position at New Hampshire Motor Speedway last weekend, marking his fifth-consecutive top-five finish to start the 2010 NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour season.

IN THE POINTS - Santos currently leads the points standings and is 129 points ahead of second place, Ted Christopher.

ON RACING AT LIME ROCK PARK
- "I am excited for Lime Rock. I raced there once in a Legends car in the rain, but I did not do very well. Hopefully, I can do better this time. I am really looking forward to it; the race should be a lot of fun."

ON ROAD COURSE RACING - "Road course racing is something that I have wanted to do for a long time. I think I may struggle a little bit at first, but hopefully by the end of the weekend I will be good to go. It will definitely be something that I enjoy doing."
